Nuket -Dolls

🇫🇮  Värikkäät tädit

🇬🇧 / 🇺🇸 Below (+ Shipping Info to USA)

🇬🇧 1:12 Porcelain Dolls in 1850s Attire

Colorful Aunts – Elsa Beskow Inspired, in 1850s Outfits.

These 1:12 scale porcelain dolls are inspired by Elsa Beskow’s colorful aunts: Aunt Green, Aunt Brown, and Aunt Blue-Red (Tant Grön, Tant Brun, and Tant Gerdelin). Each character has a historically inspired cone-shaped silhouette, even with multiple layers of clothing.

Dolls are available either with a complete wardrobe included – including hats, aprons, capes, crinolines, shoes, petticoats, detachable collars or sleeves – each doll with her own unique style,
or dressed only in the main dress,
or completely undressed – ready for you to style as you wish.

Perfect for your dollhouse or collection – your choice!

Earlier Show

I am delighted to be part of the LDF Online Showcase 2025. I joined the event at short notice, so my website is not fully translated into English yet – but I am happy to share my dolls here with you.

For the showcase I have created a series of porcelain Rococo gentlemen in silk costumes. Their clothing and accessories are made as separate pieces, and the wigs and shoes are removable. The soft sheen of silk, together with embroidery threads and glass beads in jewel-like colours, inspired me as I worked on these figures.

Price: 280 € each (final price, shipping included, VAT not applicable).

To purchase, please add the doll to the cart and pay using one of the available options. If this does not work, send me an email (info@taruastikainen.com or taru.astikainen@gmail.com) and I will send you an invoice. Please include a screenshot of your shopping cart when you contact me, as each doll is available only once. Kindly be sure before reserving, so that others do not miss their chance.

At the moment I am unfortunately unable to offer shipping to the USA, but I hope this situation will be resolved soon so that future dolls can once again be available there.

Thank you!

All of my Rococo Gentleman dolls found new homes already on the second day of the LDF Online Showcase 2025. To my surprise, every one of them went to the USA – even though I had not planned to ship there this time, due to the current customs and postage situation. (Edit: and to Japan)

I am deeply grateful to the organisers for their wonderful work and, above all, to my customers for their enthusiasm and trust. Hopefully practical issues with shipping will be resolved soon, so it will be easier for me to send dolls abroad again.

Making porcelain dolls is a slow process, and it will take some time before I have new figures ready. But I am already working on them, and this positive showcase experience makes me believe I will be part of the event again next time.

Thank you so much for being part of this journey.
